An educational opportunity is available for a part-time Special Education Teacher specializing in Student Academic Intervention (SAI) and Case Management within a K-12 setting. This contract position supports approximately 22 students and offers a blend of in-person and virtual learning environments designed to accommodate both the needs of students and educators.
Position Details
- Location: Redlands, CA
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, in person on Mondays with virtual services the remainder of the week
- Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
- Student Group: Serving 22 students with diverse special education needs
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs
- Complete regular documentation and updates in SEIS (Special Education Information System)
- Attend and actively participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to collaborate on student progress and strategies
- Provide direct instructional support and intervention services for eligible students
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials for K-12 students
- Experience in case management and knowledge of compliance with special education guidelines
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and communication effectively
- Ability to deliver engaging instruction both in-person and through virtual platforms
